Back from Colorado - Back to School

Well, I made it back home in time to do the pile of work required to welcome your happy faces back to school in the fall. This included moving into a new office (the door to it is Dr. Poon's old door, but the office is half the size - the other half is the choral office), figuring out how to assign the 20 something new freshmen coming in the fall, and starting to spend the suddenly expanded opera budget. This looks to be a great year for the voice area and for our studio, so I hope you are looking forward to it as I am. This semester will have one recital, also - Katie Neal's - so I hope you are all looking forward to that like I am.

This one is me, the four young artists (which included Cat and Jacob in the middle), and the conductor, the absolutely fantastic Roland Kluttig (who is an excellent opera conductor from Germany). Cat and Jacob both did very well at the Festival.
